Terms and Conditions
As of April 2023

Payment Schedule 

To confirm your reservation, a deposit of $500 per person, per trip is required along with a filled-out Trip Agreement form. Full payment of the balance is due 180 days before the first day of the trip.  All payments can be paid by direct deposit, check or credit card.  Payments by credit card will carry a surcharge of 3%-5%. Your payment schedule will be outlined in the trip agreement form and must be adhered to. 

Cancellations and Refunds

In consideration for accepting my reservation I agree to pay DIVE ARMY in full or in accordance with the payment plan selected. I understand that all payments are due 180 days prior to trip departure unless otherwise stated. 


I further understand that DIVE ARMY in reliance of this reservation will be obligated to pay my balance to the tour operator. Accordingly, all deposits and payments are non- refundable.


I agree that DIVE ARMY may resell my reservation should I fail to make payments in accordance with the payment schedule. I further agree that I will not be entitled to any refund if DIVE ARMY resells my reservation.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you purchase trip insurance within 15 days of your initial deposit to be eligible for "cancel for any reason" policies. In the event that you must cancel your reservation you must notify DIVE ARMY as soon as possible and we will happily provide documentation to provide to your trip insurance. 


Dive accident insurance is mandatory for any diving excursions. This is for medical evacuations, any unforeseen medical circumstance that may arise on the trip, but may also offer trip protection if you are medically unable to dive prior to the trip. 

Cancelling Your Booking

If you decide to cancel your reservation we recommend filing a claim through your trip insurance. If you failed to secure trip insurance, DIVE ARMY agrees to help sell your space by advertising and helping to create a channel of communication with a potential buyer. It is between you and whomever you choose to gift or sell your space to in order to work out a price. The original purchaser will still owe the agreed upon trip balance.  Please inform us, DIVE ARMY, of any changes to your booking at the soonest opportunity.


DIVE ARMY is a seller of travel only. DIVE ARMY does not manage or control the independent suppliers of services and is not liable for their acts or omissions. We have no responsibility for these services, nor do we have the authority to make any warranty or representation regarding their standard. You understand that your legal recourse is against the specific provider, not DIVE ARMY.

DIVE ARMY cannot be held responsible, or in any way liable, for property losses, personal losses, accidents, injury, or death for any reason whatsoever, whether through any activities booked through us, or caused to you by third parties connected, or not connected to us.  We will not be liable, for any additional expenses incurred by customers, for any reasons whatsoever.  If a complaint is received about a trip, for any reason, DIVE ARMY will agree to investigate and may act upon the complaint dependent upon our findings.

Health and Safety

I am also aware, that I must meet all travel health and safety requirements and that I am obligated to personally verify these requirements.

Please see your Doctor if you are concerned about any medical conditions, or need information regarding vaccinations before coming on a DIVE ARMY Trip.  You will be required to sign a Medical Liability Release Form by your instructor before your PADI course commences.  


Please note that persons with medical or physical problems (bad knees, etc.) that could in any way impact upon their participation in the trip or impact upon others' participation must make them known to us before departure.   In the event a diver is sick or injured before his/her trip, their travel insurance coverage could reimburse nearly all pre-paid trip expenses.

Miscellaneous Information We Need

When you confirm your reservation, please be prepared to provide us with the following details (we'll remind you again at the time):


  • Full names of all passengers

  • Indicate Mr/Mrs/Ms, and if you are a couple

  • Email addresses 

  • Flight arrival and departure details (can be added later)

  • Arrival date and telephone number (can be added later)

  • Scuba certification level

  • Number of dives

  • Date of last dive

  • Any special dietary requirements

  • Rental scuba equipment sizes. Please note you are responsible for any damage caused to your rental equipment during your vacation package and in the event of damage you will be charged accordingly. DIVE ARMY does not rent equipment. However, most service providers will.


DIVE ARMY reserves the right to take photographs during trips and of clients and to use those photographs in our promotional materials without compensation.  We include an optional media release consent form before using a recognizable photo of you.  If later you find that you don't like a particular use of a photograph of you in our materials, please notify us. In the case of electronic media (our website), we will remove it immediately.
