Today, Chris had the honor and pleasure of working with Rescue Divers, Divemasters and Scuba Instructors from GoldCoast Scuba in Lauderdale by the Sea to help train them to be Diveheart Adaptive Instructors and Advanced Adaptive Dive Buddies. This training will allow these divers and instructors to work with divers of differing abilities, so that they may help others "Imagine The Possibilities". Today we began our training with reviewing the material learned from our learning materials and started our empathy training with land clinics. We completed land clinics that prepared the candidates to work with predate briefings for our adaptive divers and then went into our blind diver land clinics. Our candidates needed to navigate everyday obstacles such as walking around the pool deck and setting up dive equipment. EVERYone did an amazing job today! I can't wait to see what tomorrow holds!
